ABOUT

CURRENT POSITION

I am a geochemist and a coral reef ecologist. In 2017, I joined the Martínez-García Lab at the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry. My research aims at understanding the linkage between the past climate variability and the N-cycle in the ocean using coral isotopic records. This is a collaborative research with the Sigman Laboratory at Princeton University (NJ).

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research focuses on the evolution of the tropical oceans in the Anthropocene Era and aims at understanding the interactions between human activities, climate, geochemical cycles and tropical ecosystems using geochemical records from carbonated archives. I am also interested by geochemical proxies development and calibration.
